 Digital Time Lapse VCR & Network Station The HEDV Video Network Station enables video surveillance cameras to be remotely monitored and controlled over LANS (Local Area Networks) and WANS (Wide Area Networks). Accepting the video output of up to four cameras, provides remote, GUI-based, monitoring and control using networked PCs running a web browser. All functions are accessed through a web browser (Internet Explorer) - no additional software is required. Several units can be connected to a network to expand the number of cameras. A digital hybrid time lapse recorder which utilizes a hard disk buffer and DV tape archiving. Images are first stored on the hard disk and then, at given intervals, are automatically transferred to DV tape.
